Blessing In Disguise

Blessing in Disguise Children’s charity Registered charity number 1161139 – We are a socially responsible organisation, providing much needed support to many children, young adults by providing, free of charge, a range of life enhancing equipment.

They were raising money towards a Comvaid Cruiser Wheelchair which would benefit a young local lad who has special needs. They reached out to Bent n Bongs Charitable trust for any help that we could give them, and we were only too happy to give them a donation.

The Convaid Cruiser Wheelchair has been provided to a young local boy, who has severe autism, Pica, as well as sensory and learning difficulties. Due to his disabilities, he can only access the outdoors under strict supervision. With the wheelchair, he can now safely enjoy the outdoors.

From the mum of the little guy this helps:

It fits him perfectly, supports his body exactly how he needs, and keeps him safe and comfortable. Before this, we struggled so much when we went out — he is tall and strong, he would lie down, refuse to walk, or try to run off, and it was very hard and tiring to keep him safe. Now, he sits securely, he is calm, and we can go out safely as a family without any stress or worry. It gives him the right support for his posture too, and he actually likes sitting in it — he feels safe and happy there.

You have no idea how much this has helped us. It is not just a chair — it is our safety, our freedom, and it helps Adam feel secure. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this possible and for being so kind and helpful.
